Day 8, Monday, March 2, 2009: South Water Caye, Night Snorkel

The night snorkel was amazing. We all got our flashlights, put them in plastic bags, and went into the water under the stars. We saw some great things such as a really cool octopus that would change color and spread his body like a parachute to catch its food. Then we saw an eel, but only its face, and it had a bunch of teeth and it was hiding under coral. It was very cold, but it was worth it. The underwater life at night was far less crowded than during the day. It was amazing.
